Om migFresh out of library school at Southern Connecticut State University, MLS clutched tightly in hand, I enjoyed my work as Electronic Research Specialist at Pierce Library at Eastern Oregon University in La Grande, Oregon. I am now teaching in the College of Education and loving it. For fun (and with the music, sometimes profit!) I love to knit and play bass and ukulele in The Summit Ridge Band and with Thacher Carter as a duo or trio. I also sing bluegrass, blues, and folk styles. I used to sing jazz but really never "got it" intellectually so don't do it so much anymore. I am staff to two spoiled felines and spouse to the most wonderfully perfect man ever made.
