I have to confess when I moved after my husband left me a few years back, I left far more books than I should have. But I kept over a thousand. These are books I love, or books I have not read yet. I know I won't have time to read them all, so am starting a library at my church, where I can share the wealth with others.

To quote what I recently said in a college post, "I have a burning desire to learn, to help, to write, and to speak." That desire has sent me back to college at 60, starting to earn a degree in Psychology with a focus on Crisis Counseling, because that is the greatest need of the important people in my life. Books are a treasure, and can enrich the learning process like nothing else. So, for me, God's Word lays the foundation for all truth, the University is helping me to build on that foundation appropriately, and the books and other learning I will do will fill the house with the beautiful things that make it home.
