As an educator, I have hundreds of children's books. My son has hundreds of books and I have hundreds more on my own shelves. Have I ever counted? No, because I think I'd lose count. It's on a weekly basis that I add more books. I always thought that when I've finished reading, it's my time otherwise I'll have to be buried with my books so I can catch up on reading!!

Reading has always been a huge part of my life. My earliest memories include establishing my very own basement library. Patrons were my stuffed animals (which were also my students in my classroom). As a child, my favorite authors included Beverly Cleary and Judy Blume as well as Archie Comic Digests. Now that I am grown, books are still at the core of my interests. I can't say I have a favorite author because I love discovering a book at a used book store and taking a new journey.
