Lots of English and Irish literature, mostly classics, and some Japanese, French, and Indian authors thrown into the mix. Short on Americans, though Mark Twain, O. Henry, Flannery O'Connor, and Ray Bradbury are favorites. Poetry and theater include Martin McDonagh, Tennessee Williams, Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde, John Keats, Seamus Heaney, Pablo Neruda, and e.e. cummings. Also, look for nonfiction, memoir, and science writing (mostly on atomic physics). Also look for books on faith.

Lawyer by day, aspiring writer by night. Avid reader of Thomas Hardy, Jane Austen, John Keats, the Brontes, J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Alexandre Dumas, and almost anything by dead Irish authors (James Joyce and John Millington Synge are favorites).
