About My Library
I own all the books in my LibraryThing and have read the vast majority of them. However, I always have a backup of hundred books waiting to be read as one never wants to run out of books. My collection is made up of books I have read that are keepers, and my studio books, which cover art, beading, fiber arts, design, surface design etc, and my cookbooks. Books that I have read that are not keepers are passed onto friends and family or giver to charity.

My weekly addiction is to find a book to add to my studio collection. Other books are mainly found at thrift stores. My big stockpile of books to be read are mostly found at thrift stores, especially the ones with paperbacks for 25 cents and hardbacks for 50 cents. Right now my pile consits of such authors as Jane Austen, Alice Walker, Michael Shaara, and Toni Morrison to name a few. But if there is a book I really want I will buy it wherever I can find it.

I am a fiber artist who has a things for beads, fibers, painting and dyeing fabric, and for experimenting and trying new techniques. My hobbies include Genealogy, volunteering, and reading.
