- About My Library
- My library at School #3 in Rochester has about 15,000 books. I teach library skill classes every day, all day. I am a "special" in my school just like Music and PE. Classes are split between Art and library for the first part of the year and then we switch groups.
- About Me
- I am a school librarian in a preK-8 school in the inner city of Rochester, NY. The 2018/2019 school year is my 7th year as a librarian. I taught elementary education for 11 years before becoming a librarian.
My greatest passion is reading. I mostly read fiction. I like suspenseful books with twisty endings. I am very tired of every book being described as "for fans of Gone Girl and The Girl on the Train". I almost hate it when a book becomes so popular that nonreaders start reading it and acting like it's the best thing since stretch pants. - Sted
