A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of New Mexico (1996-English literature), I am a 45 year old graduate student at the Library and Information Science Program (soon to be School of Library and Information Science) at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. I previously earned a masters degree in English literature from Roosevelt University (Chicago).

I read a variety of books and articles--from literary criticism to Harry Potter. I am currently reading *What Literary Studies Should Be and What it is* by Professor Bruce Fleming and *John Donne, Body and Soul* by Professor Ramie Targoff. I recently finished Edward P. Jones's *The Known World,* a highly entertaining novel about Henry Townsend--a Black man who owned slaves.
