About My Library
Currently collecting in: maritime and polar exploration; Arctic and Antarctic topics; and Buddhism (dharma practice).

Other abiding interests include Latin-American literature and poetry, and travels (of an expeditionary or exploratory nature, but generally not guidebooks or the like).

Formerly I collected a lot in military history, especially Australian or those with local (Queensland) history connections. After a large weeding exercise in January 2019, I have retained only a core number of those.

All items are print versions and most are kept in Brisbane. The "currently reading" collection does not include any library borrowing at all, only books I've purchased.
For ebooks, I use and recommend BorrowBox (this is an unsolicited endorsement).

I also buy some contemporary fantasy and sci-fi ebooks, but don't intend to catalogue those here. But do yourself a favour and check out Mark Lawrence and AJ Smith.
