Om migI'm a redheaded Leo who loves life; an artist, designer, seamstress, performer, musician, lover, healer, friend, avid reader, cook, gardener, painter and energy worker. I'm a double preacher's kid which explains quite a bit. I'm about as eclectic as they come.

I've performed at Renaissance Festivals for over 30 years; everything from lady-in-waiting to Queen Elizabeth to fighting wench and musician in a Celtic band called "Queen's Gambit." That band fell apart with the divorce but I'm starting another one; an all-women Celtic band. (If anybody knows of a guitarist/vocalist, let me know, ok?)

Performing at faires has helped make me who I am more than any other single thing in my life. I've been an entrepreneur for 25 years; professional seamstress doing everything from Bridal & Costume sewing to Home Decor, Custom musical instrument bags and even Faux-finish painting.

When my hobby of sewing became my career, about the only hobby I had left was reading. Some of my books are some of my best friends.

Om mit bibliotekYou name it, I'll read it. I'll read the cereal box if it's the only thing available. I prefer to buy paperback library so I can read and re-read as I choose & they don't take up quite as much room. My first choice will always be SciFi and Fantasy; Mercedes Lackey, Charles DeLint, L.E. Modesitt Jr., Anne McCaffrey, Katherine Kerr and of course, Robert Heinlein and Isaac Asimov, Edgar Allen Poe and Shakespeare. What, you don't consider Shakespeare to be Sci Fi? *shrugs*

I seem to be missing a box of books; the earlier part of the alphabet...hmmm. If I seem to have a lot of books in "H - N," that's why. Ye gods, I have a lot of books!
