Om migThe Oregon Maritime Museum (OMM) is a non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide, operate and maintain facilities dedicated to the collection, preservation and public display of maritime objects; to collect and preserve maritime records for scholarly public use; to provide public meeting opportunities for maritime interpretation and education; to serve as a memorial to merchant mariners, and to encourage interest in the past, present and future maritime heritage of Oregon and the Columbia Basin.

Om mit bibliotekThe OMM Reference Library contains books, maps and charts with an emphasis on the maritime history of the Pacific Northwest. Topics of interest: Oregon shipbuilding, West coast shipping lines, as well as steamboats and tugs on the Columbia River and its tributaries.

It is staffed by volunteer librarians who can assist visitors and those who want to conduct research. It is open to the public when a librarian is on duty. We are not able to loan out materials.

The Library also accepts donations of maritime books with an emphasis on the Pacific Northwest region."
