Many of you may know that Terry Pratchett (author of the Discworld books, among others) recently announced he had been diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's. Just this week, he made a 500,000 pound donation to Alzheimer's Research (that's about $1 million US). There is now a movement among his fans to match that amount.
