About My Library

I'm reading night and day. I read across boundaries for work, but my heart belongs to the Victorians, speculative fiction, and vintage children's novels. Since the pandemic it's mostly been about easy pleasures like vintage pulp horror and children's mysteries. Sorry, literature, you had a good run.

This page started as a mirror for my Booklikes account that was, but now this is my home base for bookfacing. My StoryGraph is also gaining steam.

I've written a little something about every book I've read since 2009 and it is thoroughly a part of my reading process to see what others are writing about my latest read. My reviews are mostly dated 2019 because that's when I jumped ship to LibraryThing.

As a bookseller, I read a lot of arcs, but I only publish reviews close to release dates and I rarely keep track of picture books or other material meant for beginning readers.

My Latest Obsessions:

OG Nancy Drew 30/35

OG Hardy Boys 32/38

About Me

This man loves cats, collecting antiques and vintage Ken, and finding other ways to fill the Victorian house he shares with his husband.
