My library consists of many random items. I love reading an array of different types of material from mysteries to early settlers. My two favorite authors (if I had to narrow it down) are John Grisham and Jane Austen, which is strikingly ironic. I love to read children's books and my favorites are Lois Lowry, Jerry Spinelli, Andrew Clements, and Shel Silverstein.

I'm a former teacher who is currently working at a local library. Among my favorite job responsilities is reading reviews and selecting books for our picture book collection. I also enjoy performing storytimes for our preschoolers. My love for reading somehow spilled out into writing and now I'm hoping to someday have my own picture books and chapter books published.
