About My Library
The collections in the History Faculty Library geographically cover History of Britain, Europe, the US, India, Africa, Commonwealth countries, etc. Books on aspects of history are purchased and all periods between early medieval and late 20th century are included.

The History collections in the Bodleian Library partly come from Legal Deposit (ie free UK publisher's copy) and from purchases both in the US, Europe and further afield.

Its collections cover British & Western European history, History of Science, historiography, etc. from the early medieval periods to the late 20th century. Research material for the history of other countries is held in other libraries in Oxford (e.g. Rhodes House Library of Commonwealth & African Studies, etc.).
About Me
The Bodleian Library is one of nearly 40 libraries within the integrated structure of the Bodleian Libraries.

It is a national legal deposit library. It accommodates a wide range of readers and material, primarily covering humanities disciplines, and is a reference library without borrowing facilities.

The central Bodleian Library comprises three buildings: the Old Library, the New Library and the Radcliffe Camera. Open-shelf collections are held in the Upper Reading Room and Duke Humfrey's Library in the Old Library and also in the Upper Camera, Radcliffe Camera.

The Bodleian History Faculty Library is located in the Radcliffe Camera and Gladstone Link. It stocks the primarily lending collections for the undergraduate and postgraduate History courses.
