About My Library
My goal is to a have a library that is well-stocked in a plentitude of subjects. I have around 400 books (a woefully small but growing number of which appear in this catalogue). My library is strong in Theology, New Testament Greek, Old English and Medieval Studies, as well as American (Steinbeck et al.) and English Literature.

I pride myself (I am a weak and prideful sinner, alas) in the rare, esoteric, recondite, abstruse, and arcane. So, I rejoice when I find that I am the only owner of a book on Library Thing! Though, what is a secret if it can't be shared by a select few? Thus I also rejoice when I find myself a member of a very small group of owners of a certain book.
About Me
Erasmus of Rotterdam is my hero: both for his erudition and his moderation (theological). If only they'd have listened to him...

My interests are diverse. I consternate my wife by creating several hobbies a week and then buying as many books on those hobbies as I can find.

I took a B.A. from North Central University and am now (slowly) working on an M.A. in English with Concentration in Medieval Studies from the University of New Mexico.

There are two things that I don't like:
1)Specialization in Education
2)Calling any book a Classic that was not written in the Golden Age of Greek and Roman Learning and Letters. It may be a good book, stood the test of time, etc., but if it was not written by the likes of Euripides, Seneca, Plato, or Vergil it's not a Classic! Call me an elitist; I'll take it as a compliment.
