Boxes and boxes of books ~ stored in a storage unit, waiting for me to move into a place with more room for bookcases. For now, I mostly borrow books from the library and only buy those that aren't immediately available but I can't wait to read. Also, I've started getting ARCs to read and review, and that is proving to be highly pleasurable.

Love to read & love books ~ just being around books makes me happy. The image on my profile page is of the front door to the L.A. Central Public Library, my second home.

I also enjoy writing, reviewing books (I just started a new blog), photography, travel, and, to a lesser extent, knitting and taking care of my fishlets (a beta and some tetras & guppies). I'm thinking of getting another parrot (African Grey, if possible), but hesitate because I'm not home enough to keep one happy.
