Reader of world literature, but especially love Australian and Russian literature. In 2006 I spent almost three weeks in St Petersburg, Russia, visiting author's museums and became a friend of The Hermitage so I could visit the art collections every day.
I formerly worked in the Australian Public Service for 24 years; highlights were writing a preservation strategy for all heritage collections, construction planning for our National Museum, gender equality policy and research in the Office for Women, national family relationships programs, child protection strategies and research.
I have had five of my short stories published.
Currently volunteering at the National Gallery of Australia and write short women's biographies for various sites.
