- About My Library
Botanical Dimensions is an organization dedicated to collect, protect, propagate and understand plants of human use and their lore. This Ethnobotany Library currently holds 2,000 books and periodicals on all interdisciplinary aspects of the plant-culture relationship: botany, mycology, ecology, anthropology, mythology, herbalism, ritual, travel, traditional environmental knowledge, indigenous knowlege, California studies, Pacific studies, Amazonian studies, and more. We are gradually listing them all on LibraryThing, and adding new titles to our physical library. In 2023, this research Library is open only for special events, and the occasional researcher who contacts us for an appointment. From 2015-2020, we hosted classes on a variety of topics related to plants, fungi and knowledge — a global and historically deep view of ethnobotany and ethnomycology. See www.botanicaldimensions.org for more information.
