About My Library
My first published books were The Prisoner's Sword and Ride the West Wind, the story of Quakers coming to America with William Penn. The first in The Jaden Steele Mystery Carmel Series is A Slice of Carmel, the second Slash and Turn. Currently working on the third in the series, The Secret of Smuggler's Point, set in Big Sur, California.
About Me
Barbara Chamberlain's latest book, The Flight of Alpha I, was awarded a National prize by the National League of American Pen Women for juvenile fantasy. She holds a masters in library and information science from San Jose University. While working at Harrison Memorial Library in Carmel, California, she conceived the idea for the Jaden Steele Mystery Series set in the Monterey Bay area of California. She is also a storyteller and teaches seminars in storytelling and creative writing. Her original fable of Okinawa, A Bowl of Rice, won the prize for juvenile/ young adult fiction in the Writers Digest contest.
