Gwasg Gregynog

Beskrivelse
The Gregynog Press was established in 1922. It produced two pieces of ephemera in 1922, and its first book in 1923. The last book was published in 1940, and the last piece of ephemera in 1941, most of the staff leaving for war-time service, leaving only the bookbinder to complete the special bindings, which he did by 1945 (with one exception, completed at the National Library of Wales in 1952). Further reading: Thomas Jones, The Gregynog Press: a paper read to the Double Crown Club on 7 April 1964 (OUP, 1954; lim. ed. of 75 copies).
