lorax: Read this one, not as enthused about a reread as I am for Poisonwood, but voting for it because it's not the Bernadette one.
libraryman_76021: Having just finished reading Stardust by Gaiman, which I thought was awesome, I would be very interested in reading another one of his books.
Lman: Already read - a long time ago; so would rather one I hadn't read. I would rather read a Gaiman I haven't read - and I think there are other works of his that are better.
.Monkey.: My library has it. Also not something I would have chosen, but I would read it for the group.
pbirch01: Have heard many good things about Gaiman, would love to read this one with a group of fellow first timer Gaiman readers.
krazy4katz: I have an impression (possibly wrong) that Maria Semple's book is a bit lighter than the one by Neil Gaiman. I feel as though this is better for my mood right now. I am extremely busy and don't know if I could finish American Gods in time for the discussion. I have already read The Poisonwood Bible, which was fantastic. If it is chosen I will try to follow along with the discussion but I won't reread it.
WildMaggie: Great book. Would be pleased to re-read.
lilywren: I already own this book, have had it on my shelf sometime waiting to be read. It is also on my list for the 2014 challenge group and ROOT group so would fit in well!
janflora: Already read, but really liked it, so could discuss :)
luvamystery65: This is one of the books I will be reading this year.
BookLizard: I've heard good things about it and could use a "push" to read it.
calm: I really enjoyed this when I read it a few years ago and I think there is enough content to allow for a great discussion.
TooBusyReading: I've been wanting to read this one anyway.
eclecticdodo: loved his other books that I've read and been meaning to read this one for a while. Also think the topic could produce some interesting discussions.
ccookie: Love Neil Gaiman. Have not read any of them though.
lesmel: Like Gaiman. Haven't read AG.
bsquaredinoz: I've never read Gaiman but am curious
EllsieFind: Not something I would pick on my own which could be a good thing.
Tanya-dogearedcopy: My reason is selfish: I already own it and have not yet read it and; I suspect more of LT's readers will enjoy this title over The Poisonwood Bible > better discussions
lorannen: I've read this before, loved it, and knew I'd re-read it eventually. I'm also excited about having the opportunity to talk it through with others who are reading it at the same time.
CatheTaylor: Neil Gaiman is always an exciting read... I'd be willing to read this in a heartbeat!

lorax: I've read this one as well, but I liked it well enough that I'd happily reread, and the only one on the list I haven't read isn't my sort of thing.
SqueakyChu: I own this book, but I haven't read it yet.
_Zoe_: It's very highly rated, and it's not American Gods. But I'd really prefer to read something shorter when it's a book club selection that I'm not picking myself.
jeshakespeare: I did a quick search on my library and my first two choices are available as ebooks.
Lman: I have had this on my TBR list for a-a-ages... so would happily read this as well
.Monkey.: My library has it, I wouldn't have chosen it myself, but that's the point of reading groups, right?
WildMaggie: Interesting book. Lots of potential for discussion.
Carmenere: The Poisonwood Bible is the only one of the three I haven't read, yet I've enjoyed all Kingsolver's I have read.
janflora: This is one of the books I need to read for ROOT! And I do love her writing.
BookLizard: The length has always put me off, but I would like to read it.
calm: I have this on my TBR shelves and this might be the push I need to actually read it.
JerryMmm: NOT read this one
lesmel: It's already on my extensive TBR.
EllsieFind: My last pick because I've already read it. But I enjoyed it and learned much from it and would read it again if it is the pick.
Tanya-dogearedcopy: I rated this second to the Gaiman title as I own this and have yet to read it; but suspect it won't be as appealing as the Gaiman to many LT readers > smaller community discussion
lorannen: Of the three, I feel the most "meh" about this one. While I've not read anything of hers before, I get the distinct impression that Kingsolver's work isn't really up my alley. I'll at least take a crack at it if this one does win.
CatheTaylor: Read this year's ago... willing to re-read!!

ursula: Absolutely not interested in the Gaiman. This looks to have a better chance of winning than the Kingsolver, so throwing my vote this way.
Megi53: This was a World Book Night - US choice for 2014. Alas, I couldn't pick any of the books I wanted to read (and this was #1) because they were too edgy to pass out to strangers in my conservative community. Had to go with *100 Best-Loved Poems* instead.
conceptDawg: I've read American Gods (and liked it) so I'd prefer Bernadette over Poisonwood.
_Zoe_: Both of the other options are more than 550 pages long, and I already felt like The Circle dragged on enough. Plus I've already read American Gods (and didn't like it), and American Gods was the inaugural selection for "One Book, One Twitter" a few years ago, so it would feel like we were just copying them.
Morphidae: Only book I haven't read.
Lman: I haven't read this one and it seems quite a popular read - always good for polarising discussions
krazy4katz: I have an impression (possibly wrong) that Maria Semple's book is a bit lighter than the one by Neil Gaiman. I feel as though this is better for my mood right now. I am extremely busy and don't know if I could finish American Gods in time for the discussion. I have already read The Poisonwood Bible, which was fantastic. If it is chosen I will try to follow along with the discussion but would not reread it.
Ling.Lass: I've already read the other two. (They're good; but I'd like an excuse to read a new one.)
WildMaggie: First because it's the only one of the three I haven't read. Humor would be a nice start to the year.
janflora: I do want to read this book.
BookLizard: I read it last year and enjoyed it. I might reread it, but would follow the discussion in any case.
TooBusyReading: Sounds like a book I would enjoy. I don't want to re-read The Poisonwood Bible even though I liked it.
JacobsBeloved: I've read the other two, so this was my only choice really.
JerryMmm: NOT read this one either
EllsieFind: To be honest, I picked it because, on reading the description, it seemed more cheerful than the other picks. By March, I'm ready for a little sunshine.
Tanya-dogearedcopy: I rated this third (after the Gaiman and Kingsolver titles) because I've already read it and, as enjoyable as it was, I'm not sure it's worth a re-read for me and; I'm not sure that despite its appeal that there's that much to talk about.
lorannen: I know very little about this book, but it's been recommended to me by people whose book opinions I respect, so I'd be happy to give it a whirl!
CatheTaylor: Doesn't seem my cup 'o tea.. so I'll go with 3rd choice. :-)
