Sigh. Instalove. Why the instalove? This guy tells a woman who he's spent 2 days with over the course of 7 years that he loves her no matter what and will always be there for her. And then she reciprocates? GTFO! It's all too much. Well actually it's not enough. Seriously folks. Come. On.

I enjoyed reading it, but the suspension of disbelief was an insanely heavy lift. What is it that instalove authors think love really is anyway?

SENSUALITY RATING: YES Profanity; YES sexual encounter (“c _ _k”, “p _ _ _y”, etc)

GENRE: Modern day romance

SETTING: Texas to Europe to Africa and back

CENTRAL FEMALE CHARACTER: CASSIE – pilot captain; does not want to be bothered with any man.

CENTRAL MALE CHARACTER: RONAN – co-pilot with a secret

SYNOPSIS: She has had enough co-worker sex harassment to last her for a lifetime. He shows up with a line she has heard so many times. They are both great pilots that come together for a purpose; to get the bad guys. Why are their flying assignments so demanding?

WHAT I LIKED: Caring for her sister. That’s it!

WHAT I DID NOT LIKE: Animal robberies? That’s just dumb the way it was written.

OVERALL RATING: (3) stars because the plot has very little to do with a baby bump. Very little.

DESCRIPTION, NOT REVIEW: Data analyst Cassie Howard may be brilliant (and, okay, a little awkward), but she’s worked hard to get where she is. She definitely doesn’t need some sexy new analyst coming in and taking credit for her work. Or the inappropriate thoughts that keep popping out of her mouth she’d rather he not hear.
For undercover FBI agent Drew Kerrigan, computers have always made more sense than people, but he’d better develop some slick social skills in a hurry if he’s going to win over the too-tantalizing-for-his-sanity Cassie. Hacking their systems was easy. Now he’s just got to hack the one person in the company most likely to see through his ruse…… (mere)
