Wanted to read this book, not for the weight loss at all but good food.
It's a weight watchers slow cooker book. Each recipe starts with a title, prep and cook time, and servings.
List of ingredients and you should be able to substitute for your healthier dietary needs: low sodium, low sugar, low fat products.
Directions on how to make are included also with other inforomation on points:
pointsplus, smartpoint, flexplan.
There is no nutritional information. There are few color photos in the book.
Some recipes do include some nutritional information: calories, fat, sat. fat, carbs, sugar, fiber, protein. Not all recipes contain this-not sure why the format is NOT the same for all recipes.
Other recipes include choloesterol and sodium levels.
Don't condone the use of canned beans-they contain too much sodium-make them fresh.
