Gurney Williams

Cute collection of cartoons published in Collier's Magazine, accompanied by text explaining how cartoons are selected, written and drawn, and received by readers. The cartoons are mildly amusing twists on some very old themes, mostly; the text is slightly interesting (would be more interesting if I were trying to sell cartoons, in this period). Enjoyable, though not exciting.

I think that this book will be good for any young reader to read because it explains the importance of vegetables, and most children can relate to not wanting to eat their vegetables and hiding them to make it look like they have been eaten. I think that this book is very relatable and very well written.
