This is an inforamtional book on how to ride horses. On every page there s a question asked, such as Why do I ride? Then there are photos and anwers provided. There is also a diary of a rider. Every page there is a new entry to the diary. It gives the reader an intimate review of riding horses. They are actually gettign a child's opinion. There are step by step guides and photos showing the reader how to care for horses. The types of riding are discussed and the appropraited clothing required is shown. I think that this is a great resource for a child who is interested in riding horses. It answers questions that they might have and the photos give the reader alook at all of the requirements needed to ride.… (mere)
This is the best book currently available on the growing equestrian sport of mounted games. covers training the pony, conditioning the rider, and how to play. It's a good book for someone just getting into the sport.
One of my new favorite books about horse-care, this is not just a book for children, but a very helpful and simple guide to caring for and owning a horse, no matter what your age.
