Linda Visman

L.M. Visman has lived, raised a family and taught in rural towns and one-teacher schools in western New South Wales, as well as in remote Central Australian indigenous communities. She has constructed fences, hen-houses and furniture, and wrangled a few deadly snakes too. She now lives with her husband, Dirk, at beautiful Lake Macquarie, where other folk go for their holidays. L.M. Visman's poetry and short stories appear in various Australian magazines and anthologies. Ben's Challenge is her first novel, but she is working on a follow-up, as well as on a novel for younger readers set in remote Central Australia.
