Such fun!!

I loved revisiting all the couples Edna matched over time. This story was such a huge hug for the soul. It was also a massive love letter to Edna. It's not all sunshine and roses however as we begin the story with Edna having mysteriously vanished. Can everyone work together to find her? Filled with oodles of love, family, adventure, and a wee bit of pain. Take a trip to visit some of your past fave couples, and see what's in store for our beloved guardian witch of the bridge... Once again Jennae Vale has manages to merge past and present in an interesting and heartwarming love story. This time, Edna Campbell is faced with a situation. She must try to help a couple whose match was not set up by her and isn't in her control. Sara goes back in time to find the love of her life, Logan, only to find that he is betrothed to another woman. He has asked Aisla to marry him to help her with her situation as an unwed pregnant woman. Rather than sit back and hope things work out, Sara investigates to find out who the father is and goes after him. It turns out that he didn't come back because of extenuating circumstances. Edna travels to the past to help. There's nothing she can do for Sara and Logan but if she can help Aisla and Rory that would leave Logan free to marry his love.
This was a quick read and a welcome addition to the entire series.… (mere)

Jennae Vale hit another home run with this 7th book in her series. In this book Zeke Bennett goes back in time to bring his sister home but instead Edna (the witch/matchmaker of this series) has other plans for him. Zeke's trip to the past takes a detour as he is sent to save a maiden in distress.
This book is filled with characters from the previous books but you don't have to have read them to enjoy the story. Most of the couples are in "mixed" marriages - a man from the past and a woman from the present. While this is a time travel book, once Zeke arrives in the past it becomes a romance as he works to save Brenna from a cruel step-mother and dangerous possible husband.
The characters are well written and they draw you into the story - you can't help but hope for the best and know that they will get their Happily Ever After.… (mere)
