If I was stranded on a desert island with only one book, this would be it! This is the book I return to over and over as I work in the garden, discovering one ambitious little green sprout after another. It has much to offer the beginning gardener and the advanced horticulturist. The book has a vegatative key at the front, but I never use it because it's so much fun to look at the pictures. Along the way I find myself reading about all sorts of things other than what I started out looking for. If you live in the Northeastern quarter of the U.S. and you go outside even occasionally, you need this book!… (mere)
