Lawyers and Savages: Ancient History and Legal… af Kaius Tuori
Much more interesting and accessible than I expected. Describes the history of the theory of legal primitivism (that "primitives" and "savages" had no law, their lands were terra nullius and thus available to be claimed and colonized by Westerners). Excellent history, well told.
