Two pieces from The Book Collector reprinted together here, with Taylor examining Martin's literature collection(s) and Cottrell focusing on his excellent collection of ornithological books. More backstory and less listing of titles would have been welcome.

Short reprinted essays and talks by Taylor on his book collecting habits, with some Trollope letters added at the end. Worth a quick browse for sure.
