While I don't think I am prepared to eat 100% raw food, I do want to incorporate as much of it into my diet as possible. I like how the author started off by explaining what exactly a raw diet is, and the best sources to get protein (that's often a concern for most people who are interested in this type of diet). The recipes are written in a way that is easy to understand and since I have this book on my Kindle, I can just take it right along with me to the grocery store and I don't even have to write a list out. Some of the recipes sound a bit odd to me, but that's because I'm used to eating a good bit of meat and seafood in my diet. For someone who is used to a raw food diet, these recipes will fit right in. I'm very excited about trying some of these in the very near future.… (mere)
I received this book free in exchange for my review. This is not a book I would have chosen for myself. It was very informative and interesting. I would like to read more on this subject. I have learned quite a bit from reading it and would like to learn more.

Interesting recipes in this book. The author goes into why and how our body needs and uses protein and the different types of protein before getting into the recipes. I found this book very helpful since I always thought I couldn't get enough protein if I didn't eat meat. Where in actuality you don't need as much protein as you may think and the amount of protein in non meat foods actually adds up and is often enough when we eat enough of the right foods.
I haven't tried any of the recipes but I will in the future.
*Note a lot of the recipes use a blender, food dehydrator or juicer and can be time consuming because of the soaking time of nuts and the dehydrating time for some of the recipes so a little preplanning is needed.… (mere)

This book has a lot of useful information backed up by the authors personal experiences with his attempts of meditation. I really enjoyed this book and I think I can use a lot of the techniques described to get myself in a better frame of mind.
