ABC, Adoption & Me -- a Multi-cultural Picture Book… af Gayle H. Swift

I picked this one because I have a friend going through with an adoption right now, so I bought it for their new family. I carefully read it first making sure to leave it in pristine shape. This is a sweet ABC lesson but using adoption as it theme. It was lovely and sweet. By the way, my friend loved it and plans to share with her new daughter.

Curricular Connections: This would be a great book to use in the elementary when discussing alternative families. I don't mean alternative families in a bad way. It would help with anything to do with tolerance and acceptance.… (mere)
