An interlocking series of narratives, shifting in time, from a man, to his female lover, to her other love relationships, to the previous generation, to Vita Sackville-West ... I may have missed some. Basically, it was the erotic awakenings of characters of privilege, and while some of the sex scenes seemed interesting, I couldn't really get into the narrative or the characters.

This books is well written but the plot and characters were a little too cliche. I found it somewhat difficult to connect with the characters because it seems crafted for a specific audience. The relationships did not seem realistic and were somewhat shallow and volatile.

There are some explicit sex scenes in the narrative but they were not necessary for the plot to unfold. They seem to have only been added for shock value. I would not readily recommend this book to anyone.

I'm sorry, I just could not get into this. To be fair, erotica is not my normal genre, but it looked fairly interesting, so I gave it a go. Twice, in fact. I received this as an ERC, so did not pay for it. The writing was, as others have said, chaotic, and the plot was... Non existent. I can't recommend this book to anyone, really.

I was having a really hard time finishing this book. The writing style seemed to change a lot, and was very odd. It made the story almost incomprehensible at times. I would not recommend this.
