Students can not listen to this book like they can with other books on getepic. The book focuses on teaching about penguins' bodies, penguins' habitat, what they eat, and their life cycle. It teaches students that not all penguins live on ice but some live on warm beaches. Something interesting about this book is towards the end it gives "Quick Stats" about penguins. For example, the smallest penguin size is a little taller than a basketball. Those are the little blue penguins that are 12 inches tall. The Manx cat is a very unique cat. One unique feature is they do not have a tail or they have a stub for a tail. A Manx cat without a tail is called a rumpy. If they have a small tail they are called rumpy risers. They are very smart and can open cabinets easily as well as doors. They are good jumpers and they have small short legs that are strong. The Manx cat does not meow, but it does make a chirping noise. The book also describes what is needed to care for this type of cat as well as their personality and where their origins are located. There are glossary terms in bold throughout the book that you can use the glossary in the back to find out what they mean.
