Nirvana is the state of grace where htere is no longer any physical suffering, mental anguish, or unanswered questions. A grand and mind-boggling concept-bigger almost than our ability to understand it. Yet, truly, small enough to package in a nutshell-because Nirvana is as we are, a truth we can let ourselves experience. Scott Shaw brings Nirvana home with 157 brief, spirited, inspiring meditations on the true presence of Nirvana.

"Let go of your desires, begin to embraceinner peace, and Nirvana will not be so distant, so desired, so far off. It will be who yokur are."

Nirvana in a Nutshell helps us see that enlightenment is a gift, a gift readily available for everyone-right here, right now. This is a cautionary book: "Nobody can give you Nirvana." This is an encouraging book: "It's a gift you give yourself."

Nirvana in a Nutshell is a small book that is liable to render big changes in how you see the world-and how it sees your. You'll want to turn to it over and over again.

Scott Shaw is an accomplished writer, teacher, martial artist, and practicing Buddhist. He is the author of many books, including About Peace, Zen O'clock, and Tao of Self Defense.

The Little Book of Yoga Breathing
Pranayama Made Easy ...
by Scott Shaw

This whole subject is so fascinating to me, imagine a little book that can help me learn different methods to get the most out of breathing. I was amazed to learn there are actually names for the different breathing styles, with techniques and suggestions for each one. Eight-Seven pages to help me feel better, just by inhaling and exhaling.

I was blown away when I found out there are calming breaths, energy - enhancing breaths, sipping breaths, cooling breaths, humming breaths and a lot more. The chapters were well presented, with targeted questions and excellent instructions. I just know every Yoga person out there is probably rolling on the floor laughing, but for someone who has been yogically challenged since birth this book is a major eye-opener. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in breathing. Thanks Scott, I need all the help I can get.

Love & Light,

Riki Frahmann
