This prequel to The Cricket in Times Square introduces readers to Tucker Mouse and Harry Kitten (before he was Harry Cat), how they met, and how they came to live in the drainpipe in the subway. They face many dangers, including a trio of rats, but by sticking together, they find the perfect home.
