A very enjoyable book about the author's cycle ride following the amber route through Europe. There is just the right mix of travel story, description and historical background.

A travel book/memoir describing the author's travels in Guatemala, Honduras and Belize, which also describes how she met her partner. She obviously knows and loves the places she talks about, and talks a lot about the histories of the places she visited, which all makes for an interesting read. Unfortunately, the book is sometimes let down by repetitive writing and poor editing.
