For a kids book, it does really well with explaining the Greek mythology and evolution of the siren myths from the past to current modern day. Very quick read, great for kids interested in sirens. However, be aware that most of the book focuses on sirens as bird creatures, not the mermaid-like creatures we've come to associate them with.

This book is about a little girl that trying to figure out who she looks like, she realizes that she has a mix of everyone in her family.
