I liked this book about a boy who has to make difficult choices between friendship, germs, ambition and junk food.
The little brother of the boy was a nice addition.
Lot of what happened made me laugh.

There is one big objection to the book, though: the 'voice', the 'tone' of the book does not seem right. I do not hear kids talking, but adults.

If the writer could change that next time, the book would even be more fun.

enjoyable

I gave this book to my five year old, a fluent reader. He spent the next hour absorbed, and then told me:

"It was great. It should deserve five stars. There are chapters about Teddy and his brother, which is Robby. My favorite is Teddy. 5 star review. He actually did set a mouse trap, and it worked. You can let the mouse free. You can also trap rats with that mouse trap."

Teddy and his little brother kept me laughing out loud over their take on "art work", germs, junk food and life in general. Think Odd Couple. Their sincere shenanigans brought guffaws of glee from my grandkids. This story works for multiple generations.
