I thought the writing in this book as well as the overall story were good. However, I hated Dott. Absolutely hated her. For that reason, I cannot recommend this book.

With illustrations by Monica Minto, Rennefarre enchants the reader with the story of Dott, a 12 year-old growing up in Germany between the World Wars. Wonderful Book - Juvenile Fiction/Fantasy
Rennefarre: Dott's Wonderful Travels and Adventures is a wonderful fantasy coming of age story that takes place in the early 20th century. Although it's a translation of a German Classic, author, Malve von Hassell has done an amazing job at adapting this tale and creating a wonderful new book for Middle Grade and Young adults to enjoy.
