NCLA Review -I can’t say enough good comments about this book! Marty Nystrom writes some clever, fun poetry about people, events, and teachings in the New Testament. Mr. Nystrom uses common things in a child’s life—hotdogs, night-lights, popcorn, roller-coasters, playing cards, and trampolines to name a few—to relate Biblical truths. Steve Bjorkman adds great illustrations. Each poem had me laughing out loud. After each poem there is a question or thought about it and a Scripture reference is given so the reader can go to the Bible and find out exactly who or what the poem refers to. What a great way to get children into the Word. I purchased copies of the book for my grandchildren and our church’s children’s minister is using thoughts from the book in his monthly newsletter column. I highly recommend this book for every church library and home, even if you don’t have young children or grandchildren. If you have a sense of humor, you will love it. Rating: 4 —PM… (mere)
