This isn't a simple little laundry list and POOF! you'll be thin. I liked how the author gets you involved by talking to you directly, with a check list at the beginning of assessing how you feel and what your goals are.

I don't think this is anything NEW, in the dietary world. Eat right, eliminate white, processed foods (breads, pastas, marshmallows :P ), add color (leafy greens, bright fruits and veggies), and exercise. 5 small meals a day to keep your metabolism going, etc.

This is another e-book I received from the publishers for an honest review. And it's another one that I would want in physical form so that I could take notes and reference it easily.

I'm finding it harder to review books such as these where it is a very personal interaction. There isn't a story, other than the story of you and your new way of eating.

*Loved the easy to follow setup of the book
*Great information that you can easily research on your own
*Made me feel better about my changes being natural
*Good to know what might be coming
*Interesting diet to follow but I think that part should be talked over with your physician.
*However, good information about how certain foods react to the hormonal changes.

Adrenal Fatigue was already something that my doctor had told me that I had. So when I found myself with the opportunity to review this book, I snatched it up.

Many of the things in this book were exactly what my doctor had gone over with me. However, you know how it is during doctor’s visits. I know that I usually walk out of there only remembering about half of what he tells me.

So this book helped to hone in on what Dr. Abrams had said. Plus it gave me the added benefit of working through things one day at a time. I know that when you try to make too many changes all at one time, it can be rather daunting. However, reading each chapter slowly, taking the quizzes, and making the changes as they come up in the book was much more easy to handle.

I definitely suggest this book for anyone who is feeling run down and can’t figure out why. Just following the simple suggestions, can make a big difference in your health and well-being.

Too often we are looking for that quick fix. It does take work to get what we want in life. And putting the time and energy into following this plan will help tremendously.

In conjunction with the Wakela's World Disclosure Statement, I received a product in order to enable my review. No other compensation has been received. My statements are an honest account of my experience with the brand. The opinions stated here are mine alone.

What I found helpful: The most helpful ideas in this book were centered around recognizing and handling stress in your life. I was impressed with the science behind the attributes of stress inducing issues with our bodies and health. There were some great tips on handling things from both an emotional and physical standpoint. I could see incorporating some of the smaller tips into your everyday life. There was some great eating strategies with recipes included that looked as if they would be easy to make.

What I found to be lacking: The explanation of the science in the book sometimes went a little to long unless the target audience is more research based. I did find it to be useful but maybe not everyday friendly. In other words, this is more of a straight forward approach to delivering information. Also, I would have liked to see a little bit more by maintenance and if you aren't coming from an overly stressed position.

Why I gave this book 3.75: This book would be very useful for those that are constantly battling with stress, fatigue, and all the symptoms that accompany those behaviors. It was well written and the format was very easy to follow.

Who would I recommend it too: This would be appropriate for people who are looking for some reasons behind what stress related symptoms do to your body and emotional well being. I felt it was a little science heavy and a bit clinical but sometimes straight forward books like that are important to read and appeal to certain readers.
