Rubbing One Out af Susan Mac Nicol
This book just didn't do it for me. I found the writing to be very simple and I honestly did not like either character. The premise was grand but the execution was poor. My opinion only.
A good read that lagged a little in the beginning as the author introduced the various Warlocks, Witches and the alliances. I like both Cade and Quinn but am a little wary of why he's keeping Cades's powers a secret. I like the fact that all Warlocks have a Withinner. There seems to be many secrets among the Warlocks and hopefully they will be answerd in book two.

That's it! No more, chapter 9 ending with that talk between Taylor and Jude is my limit: It doesn't keep the slightest coherence with the way Tay's skill manifest in all the other cases and, please, don't try to tell me «Well, it's paranormal» like excuse for lack of consistency, no way.
Besides, I find this book wordy, almost chessy, with characters who seemed more as girls minds in men bodies than gay men to me.
What's more , I give up this series and I've dropped the idea of reading other books from this author due to a clear case of personality clash.
Oh well, not every author is for every reader.

I'm not sure why but this book felt almost insubstantial for me. It was barely on this edge of corny.
The best was a secondary character, Leslie. For him I'll go ahead with the series.
