I wasn't expecting this when I started it. This book had me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't figure out what was happening. Each character had a different motivation. The authors did an exceptional job at creating characters that made me hate them but love them at the same time. That's quite a skill.

The ending seemed rushed and that is why it didn't get perfect stars. I wanted to understand more about how the shift happened with Love. Still, very good. This said book 1 and it ended with what thought was a a good future so I'm confused how the authors intend to proceed in book 2.… (mere)

Truly Shakespearean in the inner workings of this story. Giuliana is enforcer of one pack and knows she's found her mate. Downside? He happens to be part of a traitor pack that tried to decimate them by forcing a mating with her alpha to the traitor alphas daughter. Thankfully it failed, and her alpha found true love and a real mating. The remainder of those traiters vowed to follow her alpha. Why was her intended mate one of those wolves? If course she doesn't know all his secrets, and there is a whopper of a reveal to come! These two a true Romeo and Juliet...yet Guiliana is fierce and equally loves fiercely. She's also a gifted healer art heart. Yet through this adventure with tons of action, suspense supernatural political intrigue, secrets galore we also learn she has secrets even from herself. Her mind starts warring with her to reveal what's locked within. I'm hoping we learn the truth in the next book! This series is so exciting and fun to read!… (mere)
