Lexi & Slash are flying across the pond for Gio's engagement party. Both Lexi and Slash's parents will finally meet each other and Lexi's first meeting with Slash's parents. Geek girl is armed with her spreadsheets of topics to get to know her in laws. The party Lexi has organized is set at a castle with an eccentric owner and the whole weekend is escape room games. The families are split into teams to get to know each other and the escape rooms are the best in the world. The escape rooms were very intricate and the teams had to work together to solve the puzzles to advance to the next stage. The participants used all their brain power and teamwork to advance and got to know each other as family while working together and solving the riddles. There was still time for romance for Lexi and Slash and one of the cousins was learning English "slang" which was hilarious. The detail to solving the puzzles was mind boggling, but drew me in trying to figure them out. Solid story fleshing out the rest of Slash's family and Lexi's parents. I did miss that there was no Basia or Zimmerman twins through.… (mere)

Lexi is stressing out of her comfort zone while trying to plan Basia's bachelorette party and juggling speaking engagements at a cyber conference. A wrong place/wrong time happens & suddenly Lexi is being chased and shot at. Investigating the matter, she and Slash find a dangerous hack into the NSA. Who to trust turns everyone on the defense when top brass are murdered. Lexi, Slash, & the Zimmerman twins work to circumvent leaks, battle a foreign adversary, and try and come up with a hack and code to protect the USA. All of this while trying to pull off the perfect bachelorette party and girls night for Basia. Fast paced and full of action and humor.… (mere)

Lexi & Slash are getting ready for their wedding. Planning is atrocious as Lexi's mother is trying to take over the duties. The plans are stressing her out and Slash is stressed by being on vacation. Lexi jumps at a chance from a non profit group to travel to Brazil to introduce a new vaccine for malaria and Slash goes along for computer back up. Trying to track the hackers that are trying to steal the vaccine have them up to their eyeballs in intrigue, secrets and lies, and who they can really trust. Embarking in the unknown to find lost tribes in the rain forest has Lexi stretching her boundaries against everything outdoors. Trouble from the natives, spies in their group, & a kidnapping has serious implications along with secrets from Slash's past.
