But it is distinctive because it is truly well-written and tells a fascinating, often heartbreaking story of a strong man who spent his strength on the needs of others. How is it possible an orphan like Ray Stedman could end up blessing such a vast, worldwide audience over the decades? Mitchell's biography explains victory can be snatched out of the jaws of defeat through Jesus Christ, and it's quite an illuminating read. Highly recommended, especially for Christian leaders wanting to make a difference in the world around them.… (mere)
