A well crafted tale, but unfortunately I couldnt get myself too much into it.

I enjoyed this story about the different ways that gods and mortals look at things.

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf meets Breakfast at Tiffany's, but with a happy ending. A sweet, erotic tale simply told in a straightforward, unpretentious voice. The book as an autobiographical feel - I found myself wondering whether Mirabelli drew from his own youth to write the tale. (I don't know whether that's true.)

Wonderful magic realism--a sweeping romp through history, told through fabulist tales. Eugene Mirabelli is the Italian-American answer to Gabriel García Márquez.
