Joanne Michaels, formerly the editor of Hudson Valley Magazine and currently producer and host of the television program Citizen Jo, is the author of many books, including Let's Take the Kids!: Great Places to Go in New York's Hudson Valley; Hudson River Valley Farms; Famous Woodstock Cooks; Living vis mere Contradictions: The Women of the Baby Boom Come of Age; and The Joy of Divorce. She collaborated with award-winning photographer Hardie Truesdale on Hudson River Towns, Hudson River Journey, and Adirondack High.
