Giorgio de Chirico and the Metaphysical City… af Ara H. Merjian
Chirico is my favorite painter. I try to read all I can on Chirico. This book attempts to develop the idea of the city that Chirico was painting in his Italian Piazza paintings. The author Merjian is a PhD and his writing is incomprehensible to me. After reading the book, I am left feeling that he is a bullshitter. He uses lots of big words that fail to add to the interpretation of Chirico's masterpieces.
