A short look at the Star Wars film saga and some ways in which Lucas' film can have a positive moral/ethical impact on viewers. It addresses primarily character development and comparisons between Luke and Anakin. McDowell looks at Star Wars through various philosophical lenses but spends most of the time on Christianity. He focuses on good vs. evil, the use and misuse of violence, the politics of evil, redemption and the 'happy ending.'
